6 Centuries Chamber Choir

Peter is forming a new choir.  It will be called ‘The Six Centuries Chamber Choir’ – and, just like it says on the tin, it will sing something from each of the centuries from the 16th up to the 21st!  The singing will be interspersed with instrumental music and poetry (again from each century).  The first concert is on 21 June (a second is being planned for 26 November) and the programme will be:

Byrd: Sing Joyfully
Monteverdi: “Hor ch'el Ciel e la Terra” from Madrigals book 8
Bach: Motet “Komm, Jesu, Komm” BWV 229
Brahms: Der Abend Op.64.2
Eric Whitacre: Water Night
Peter Fender: How do I love thee / I never saw a moor

Peter is looking for a few more singers (especially men), so get in touch via the Contact page if you're interested!
