Another Opera: please help!!

Peter is working with Director Russel Plows to put on the British première of Darius Milhaud's opera 'The Lost Sheep'. They are working towards a new way of presenting small-scale opera, combining the best of modern technologies with a fringe-theatre aesthetic.

The Lost Sheep (1914), a beautiful and introspective work lends itself perfectly to the style envisaged. The audience will experience the opera from the moment they enter the space - audience members will be encouraged to examine items which are important in each Act before it begins and will experience the sounds and smells of Provence and then Burgos. In some scenes they can choose to light the areas that interest them with torches. There will also be close collaboration with the Video Designer Nina Dunn, whose recent engagements include ENO, Welsh National Opera and Glyndebourne Festival.

But they need your financial help to make this project a reality. Could you pledge a sum of money? Any amount is welcome. Please visit https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1890578793/the-lost-sheep-an-immers... where there is more information about the project and you can pledge an amount in support. Please do so soon as the deadline for this fundraising is 11 July!
